BIOGRAPHY

Fred Knight is an attorney in Little Rock who is the Chief Counsel for the Arkansas State Board of Nursing. He is a native of Belleville, Arkansas, in Yell County. He graduated from high school there and went on to obtain his undergraduate degree in history and political science at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. He then graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law at Fayetteville in 1983. Fred's previous work experience includes over 11 years as an Assistant Attorney General in the Attorney General's office in Little Rock.

Fred lives in Little Rock and has a country home in Shirley, Arkansas, near Greers Ferry Lake. He has a strong interest in working on environmental and wildlife issues. He also enjoys volunteering for Central Arkansas Rescue Effort (CARE) and is a former board member of the Pulaski County Humane Society.
