BIOGRAPHY

Linda Churchill Mays' interest in plants began in early childhood as she spent many happy hours gardening on the family farm with her mother and grandparents near Dover, Arkansas where she grew up. She earned a biology degree at Arkansas tech and taught Science and English in the public schools for twenty-five years.

She and her husband Ben, a veterinarian, have six children and three grandchildren, an absurd number of pets and live on a mountain near Clinton, Arkansas.
